What’s included
- Print plus digital. Both offers are listed as print plus unlimited digital access (offer page).
- Sunday coupons. The offer page lists money-saving coupons in the Sunday paper (offer page). Both plans include Sunday delivery.
- A bonus paper. The offer terms say a new subscription includes last Sunday’s newspaper delivered with the first week of service, where available (offer terms).
Which one saves more?
If you mainly want the Sunday coupons and a midweek paper, Sunday & Wednesday is the lower weekly price at $1.00 a week. The 7-Day plan costs about $1.22 a week and brings a paper every morning (offer page). The 26-week Sunday & Wednesday plan and the 13-week version showed the same $1.00 weekly rate, so the longer term mostly means you lock in the intro price for longer.
Read the fine print first
- It keeps going until you cancel. The offer terms say you’re agreeing to a continuous subscription. After the introductory period, future prices may be higher, and you will be notified (offer terms, Subscriber Terms).
- How to cancel. The offer terms say you can cancel any time by calling 312-546-7900 (offer terms).
- Premium issues. The terms say that after 26 weeks, your subscription may include up to seventeen premium issues per year, each charged an additional fee up to $19.99, which shortens your billing period (offer terms).
- Skip the paper bill. Subscribers who choose a printed invoice are charged a $6.99 processing fee for each one. The terms say automatic payment avoids that fee (offer terms).
- Who qualifies. The offer is for new subscribers and households that haven’t subscribed in the past 30 days, it can’t be combined with other offers, and it’s only valid in the home delivery area. Supply chain surcharges may apply (offer terms).
- No refunds for unused time. Tribune Publishing’s terms say no unused portion of a subscription term is refunded and no credit is offered for vacation interruptions (Subscriber Terms).
How to sign up
- Open the offer page and enter your ZIP code to see the plans available at your address (offer page).
- Pick Sunday & Wednesday or 7-Day, then choose a start date and enter your delivery address.
- Choose how to pay. The order page offered Credit Card Easy Pay, Send Me a Bill and eCheck EZPay when we checked (offer page). Remember the $6.99 printed-invoice fee if you pick a bill.
- Put a reminder on your calendar a week or two before the intro period ends, so you can decide whether to keep it at the regular rate.
